    Per has been in the chemicals and ingredients industries for 20 years. After getting his degree in Chemistry from Montclair State University in New Jersey, he worked at Schering Plough's Research and Development division doing process development for pharmaceuticals. A move to a more entrepreneurial side of the business world brought him to a job as purchasing agent for a chemical catalog division of an international distribution company, sourcing over 5,000 chemical compounds.
